When we started Stone Code, we didn’t want to create clothing that was just for style.
We wanted something with purpose.
My name is Lakai, I’m 14 years old, and when we began designing our first graphics, we talked a lot about what the brand should represent. We wanted something solid. Something meaningful. Something that followed a code.
Not just clothing for leisure — but clothing that stood for something deeper.
That’s where the Written in Stone graphic came from.
Why “Written in Stone”?
The phrase “written in stone” means something permanent — something that cannot easily be changed.
For us, it represents values and principles that stay strong no matter what.
When we designed the graphic, we imagined something breaking through the ground, like a message being uncovered. Something deeper being revealed.
The idea was that beneath the surface there is always a deeper purpose waiting to be discovered.
And when you find that purpose, you live by it.
That’s the code.
The Code Behind Stone Code
The name Stone Code represents the idea that life should be lived according to a code.
Not just trends.
Not just hype.
But principles.
For us, that code is rooted in faith.
Many of our graphics are inspired by the belief that the Bible is a written code for how we live our lives — a guide for discipline, strength, and character.
Stone Code isn’t about preaching or forcing beliefs. It’s about quietly representing values through design.
Strength.
Purpose.
Faith.
Discipline.
Those ideas are built into the brand.
